About

Built for the files nobody else can place.

SiftLodge exists because temporary housing is still found in days when it should be found in hours — and because the hardest files, the big families and the three-dog households, deserve better than "we'll keep looking."

Our approach

Depth of search, speed of response.

Most housing searches stop at the first page of the big listing sites. Ours don't. We work listed and off-market inventory side by side, screen against the criteria that actually kill deals — pets, occupancy, dates, budget — and get landlords on the phone before an option ever reaches you. What you receive isn't a list of links. It's two or three doors that are already open.

Principle 01

Speed is respect

Every day a displaced family spends in a hotel — every day a nurse starts a contract without a bed — is a day too many. We answer same-day and match the turnaround to the file: same business day for displaced families, within 24 hours for medical, within 48 for planned corporate moves.

Principle 02

Verified, or it doesn't ship

Every option we present has been confirmed with the landlord by phone: availability, real price, house rules, pets. If it's in your inbox, it's real and it's ready.

Principle 03

Aligned incentives

Success-fee only. We get paid when your file closes — which means we only send options that can actually close. No retainers, no browsing fees, no noise.

Marjourie Ruiz, Founder & Placement Director at SiftLodge

Marjourie Ruiz

Founder & Placement Director

Marjourie leads every placement at SiftLodge. Trained as a physician (MBBS), she moved through medical billing — reconciling claims directly with insurers and payers — and client-facing sales before founding SiftLodge. That path is the point: she understands how insurance claims actually work, what a family in crisis really needs, and how to get a clear yes on the phone.

She works directly with housing coordinators, adjusters and landlords in English and Spanish, from the first call to the signed lease. Coordinators who work with her tend to describe the same thing: she picks up, she already has the answer, and the landlord is already expecting the call.

Put us to the test.

Send the file that's been sitting on your desk the longest. If we can't place it, you owe nothing.
